JavaScript and CGI: General questions

If we think about IE as the internet vehicle of the masses, then the design
of IE makes sense. For example, my daughter wanted to buy a Corolla with
a stick shift instead of an automatic transmission.  There were only 5
such cars in a seven state area in new car dealerships. We had to order
one from the factory.
