Many thanks for all the best wishes, but was glad you could not see me, a 
sight not worth seeing. I am at least on the mend but the prognosis is it 
will take a while yet, and possibly leave me with some nasty sensations 
associated with passing water. One perculiarity, I perspire enough nightly 
now to, "in winter",to rival my mid summer antics, swapping soaking pillows
etc.

It seems that there a more and much more serious virii out there; harder to 
get rid of and leave you with side effects. I has left me with no drive at 
all, I just do not want to do anything.

In Queensland over these alst few summer/autums we have experienced
a leap in the number of cases of meningacoccal disease amongst 
childeren/teens. It is passed only by close contact, mouth/"mouth sharing". 
In its early stages it easily imitates Flu like symptoms, by the time the 
rash appears death can just be hours away.
