installation

Are your sure about needing Partition Magic. I only tried to make an
NT/Linux native partition once using NT4 and Mandrake 7.2. It's been
awhile, but I believe that the partitioning part of the installer had
the ability to convert part of the NT partition into Linux native and
installed Mandrake on it. Also I believe that you said that you have 1.3
you can use the partition and format portion of it's installation to
create a Linux native partition, but only if the hd has less than 1024
sectors.
