Bugger! back to square one<grin>. Just downloading 3.0.3...........Everything 
else that I have been compiling has bee great so far, any other distro I have 
tried has karked it by now. I now have lots of rpms, in approx another 2 weks 
i'll have done all the updated rpms plus those that I need for streaming 
video etc
