unitedlinux: it gets weirder

The way I read it is that one of the differentiating factors left to the distributions was the development of the desktop and which apps would be installed. UnitedLinux would provide the base. End user (desktop) apps would be add-ons provided by the individual distros in the manner in which they see fit.
So, Skippy Linux could be "Powered by UnitedLinux" and contain all the desktop goodies that he'd want for his distro.
