APM and Gateway 2000 Solo 9100

I'm coming late to this conversation, so pardon me if this was already 
mentioned.  Some versions of X with certain video drivers have real issues 
resuming from sleep.  To test this, switch to a VT before suspending.  Then 
resume and see if it comes back to the VT properly.  After that, try 
switching back to X and see if it comes back ok.  If that is your issue, an 
upgrade to your version of X or video driver may fix it.
