Rick:
Don't exactly know how to do that. Embarrassed to admit that I have been
on the rpm slide for years. This the first time that I was able to untar
and ungzip a binary file and get to it run. As predicted by netscape the
thing booted up the first time successfully after install. But, after
that nada. I put it in /usr/local/netscape as per Netscape's
instructions. when I tried to boot it up I cd /usr/local/netscape. ls
/local/netscape shows that is there. But, when I try to access it with
./netscape while in the /local dir it says bad command. Try
./local/netscape tells me that it is a directory. I don't know, but I
still have 4.77 installed (didn't want to burn my bridges behind me)
maybe has something to do with it. But it run automatically after
install so you're probably right it's in the path but I don't know how
to reset that.
I guess more research is in order, or wait until comes out with a rpm
version.
