SCO has been shedding employees like a husky is summer.  The pain you are 
describing has been going on for years.  Last I heard there were less than 300 
people working for SCO, most in larger, urban areas.  They have as good a 
chance as the rest of us for doing well in the job market of today.  I wish 
them well (With only an exception or two...)
