I hate to rain on what appears to be a happy day for many but this
news also means that the employees will probably be out of a job soon.
I certainly hope that most of the people who are adversely affected
by this news have somewhere to go besides the welfare lines.

Case in point, a local company was being run by a crook who stole
millions from everyone and never provided any product/service in
return. The feds caught up with him, were coming down hard and
stopped (not closed) the business. Now, I was not terribly sad to
hear that the owner had committed suicide but I was very sad to hear
about one employee who had just started to build his first house --
now all he has is a basement and no job. Or a different employee who
had just moved his whole family here from a different state -- he
doesn't know what to do.

Now, I hate SCO as much as the next Linux fan but I want to be sure to
focus the feelings toward the right person(s).

Brad.

P.S. Not looking for a flame war here, just expressing some feelings.
