Well, the winmodem and wireless card are all built-in and I'm loathe to spend 
money for something I already have and with the bothersome dongles, external 
antennas and other stuff that gets in the way just before it breaks off.

I've downloaded drivers for the winmodem from linuxant that should work. And 
it's supposed to be possible to do similar with the wireless. The wireless is 
a Broadcom chip (43xx, I think). Just need 30-hour days.
