| You think you feel dirty. They've burned people at the stake for lesser
| crimes.
:)

| Come to think of it, I'm using WinXP on my laptop as I type this. (Sigh.
| I just gotta get that winmodem working and figure out that ndiswrapper
| stuff for the wireless. Then maybe I can boot it into Linux.)

Winmodem? I just happened upon an old PCMCIA Modem and it works great
in Linux, skip the Winmodem. Too much headache.

Wireless? What card do you have that you need the NDIScrap?
Orinoco, Cisco, DLink (older stuff) and Linksys are all pretty much
compatible with Linux out of the box. I prefer the Orinoco card, but
that's because that is the card with the external antenna connector for
me :)

If the onboard stuff don't work, there is generally a cheap USB/PCMCIA
replacement which does work easily enough.

I run all Linux on my boxen, with a possible Winblows machine coming
soon (for my wife, who currently refuses to touch a 'puter, much less
learn a new set of apps from what she learned in HS :)

Windows does live in a place of honor for me: VMWare. Since I have to
support it somewhat, I better have a way to access it that can be rolled
back, wiped clean, and/or moved between systems with little headave.
