No change in programming. The only recommendation is to rebuild all of your
indexes.
Keep in mind that any upgrade will include the license manager. The license
manager counts open sessions and not users. You should take this into
account when purchasing licenses.
If a user opens 2 sessions on a desktop, once either *clerk or *report are
accessed a session count is used. Open 2 clerk sessions and 2 user counts
are used. However, I the clerk session systems out to run a report, that
counts as only 1 session. That is different than previous *nix version when
the user count as incremented when doing a system call to *report.
Actually you may find some of the new features useful with an upgrade to
5.8.
