OT: Web entry automation

This is not complicated at all based on the simplicity of your question, 
and since I have no time to read through Amazon's stuff, let me ask you 
a couple of questions:

1. Is CSV always same format?
2. Is CSV a push/response from a query?  How do you get this file to 
your server?
3. Do they not have an API?  If so, why not use the API?
4. What do you currently use for web app development?
5. Are you thinking of "upload", "parse" and "populate" type of process?
