termcap hell

Redhat Enterprise 6.8
Filepro 5.8.01
We just upgraded from SCO OSR/6 to Redhat. I knew that there would be termcap issues, but there are just SO MANY termcap issues….
On the SCO server, it was pretty simple; all terminals were set to scoansi, and it worked.
I have Wyse Windows CE based Thin Terms, PCs and Macs. All logins utilize FacetCorps Facetterm (allowing each login to have multiple screens). So, the term setting must exist on the hardware or software emulator, on the Redhat server, in Facetterm and ultimately, filepro.
My demands are reasonable: Filepro screen lines MUST be lines
All F and arrow keys must be functional
The nearest candidate i have found thus far is xterm, but facet term does not appear to have a compatible translation for that term.
I can quite often find terminal settings that accomplishes one of the items on the list, but not both. i would not think that drawing graphic lines in a shell would be so difficult, but clearly, there is so much self experienced evidence to the contrary.
I appreciate any assistance that anyone might be able to offer on this. Thank you very much,
James Flanagan
