I fill a 5-gallon tank, then use it for my lawn mower and snow blower
if I don't need to run my generator.
I pour some of it into a 1/2 gallon container so that it is easier to
handle when filling small engines.
Every fall and winter, I pour the remainder into my car and refill the
5-gallon container. I haven't noticed that it deteriorates that much over 6
months.
