I think the free cpu's in 507 might only be for multi-core cpus in a
single physical cpu. If you had a single physical cpu with 2 or 4 full
cores (not just hyperthreading, which _also_ shows up as multiple cpus),
you install the smp package early in the fresh install process before
any other update, just as if you'd purchased it, but don't actually
license it, (you need the software physically to exist, and you need all
the subsequent OS updates to update it), and even unlicensed it
activates and makes full use of whatever cores are in your cpu. mpstat
works etc.
