"test" instance of filePro files not in a "filepro" subdir...

You can't access it with filePro, as the files _must_ be under a "filepro"
directory.  You could put them in "/u/fpold/filepro/[filename]" instead.

That is correct.

No.

However, while filePro requires the files to be under a "filepro" directory,
the "filepro" directory itself can be anywhere accessible to filePro.

That would work.

Then you either have to change the scripts, or create a symlink to a "good"
location, so that both filePro and their scripts can access the files.
