'Printer' 'Video' using less not working

| One of the 'printers' is 'Video' which outputs the report to the 
| screen using less, I select this 'printer' when using the -pq 
| flag.  I have one client when I try to use Video nothing 'prints' to 
| the display, I am immediately returned to the menu, or if I try to do 
| a hardcopy from dclerk I am returned to the screen.  In both cases 
| the output should display on the screen but it doesn't.  Does anyone 
| have any idea why it is not displaying the report to the screen using 
| less and how to get it to display the report to the screen using less.

| ps: Less is in my path and I am able to run it from the command prompt.

Is LESS in the environment? If so, what is it set to?
