'Printer' 'Video' using less not working

Running filePro 5.0.9 on SCO OSR5.
One of the 'printers' is 'Video' which outputs the report to the 
screen using less, I select this 'printer' when using the -pq 
flag.  I have one client when I try to use Video nothing 'prints' to 
the display, I am immediately returned to the menu, or if I try to do 
a hardcopy from dclerk I am returned to the screen.  In both cases 
the output should display on the screen but it doesn't.  Does anyone 
have any idea why it is not displaying the report to the screen using 
less and how to get it to display the report to the screen using less.

ps: Less is in my path and I am able to run it from the command prompt.
