menu-eaze 2.03 and filepro/SYSTEM

There is a guy running MenuEaze(sp?) 2.03. He runs a menu called GG. It all
works and things which request print jobs work fine.  Howver, if he runs a
filePro processing table, sets some env vars with PUTNV and then does a
"system GG" everthing works right *but* printing. Just doesn't ever print
anything. As much as I listened to his analysis, the MenuEaze program runs a
dreport for example into a file... and then lp's the file... I believe it
uses the -c option for lp.  When it is running out of filePro's SYSTEM
command, it doesn't even run the lp command.

This must be something with the EUID when systeming out from filePro...??
He is on 5.07 SCO so I didn't think this came into play as a problem...  but
one of you may know what is going on and how to fix it.

The gentleman reads this list, too, so just reply here if you have any ideas
about this.

(I am SO sorry for the lack of good info... I'm just hoping that on a prima
facie level someone will have run into this problem and know an answer
without me having to be more specific.
