[root at atktest /]# ls -l /dev/ttyS0
crw-rw---- 1 root uucp 4, 64 Dec  4 08:51 /dev/ttyS0

I tried doing a chmod 666 on /dev/ttyS0 but as soon as I restart the server 
it switches back to  chmod 660.
