Just an update to keep the archives up2date/current... the recipe in the 
original message is required if you decide/have to use LPRng as the print 
spooler instead of the stock lpd (LPRng is pretty much required if you want to 
print from Windows 2000/XP workstations to the FreeBSD attached printer using 
Samba).

This way you can print from a windows workstation to a printer directly attached 
to a FreeBSD server...
     1) using a ssh client connected to the server
     2) fileProODBC using the FreeBSD box as a print server
