The manual is often a little wonky.  I used it regularly, and every
so often the Javascript (NOT Java) buggers things up.  It's search
engine also frequently doesn't point to the correct topics, or when
you hover over an entry it offers the wrong sub-navigation choices.
Occasionally fP's website doesn't respond in a timely fashion, either,
which causes it to fail.  But it beats trying to use the non-existent
index in the fP Dev Ref!!!

Your browser may not have the latest Javascript engine (rather than
Java).  When was the last time you updated your browser?  So far mine
works fine on WinXP with IE and Firefox 1.0.1.
