CAPR Announces Continuing Legal Education Course

 

CAPR is holding its first Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course for
attorneys.  It will be held September 28th at the Mercer Island Community
Center.  The title of this course is "Regulatory Takings in Washington
Supreme Court Cases, Construction Law, and More."  Please use this link for

We'd like our CAPR members to invite the legal council for their local
jurisdictions, such as your city or county attorneys and legal staff
members.  Also elected leaders, so they can influence their own staff to
place a priority on attendance.  We want to forestall takings before they
happen, or even roll-back existing regulations.  This course will help legal
professionals to recognize takings when they see them in our own laws,
regulations, and policies.

 

Please help us by communicating this to attorneys who should participate in
this course and also to your elected leaders who can make that happen.

 

Special thanks to Rick Forschler and the King Co. chapter of CAPR for
presenting this course.  It is planned as the first in a series of
continuing education courses aimed at educating professionals and government
officials in property law and property rights.
