Appeals and Federal statutory means of challenging wetland and other
sensitive areas determinations.
The first two sessions will be presented Steve Neugebaur, principle
Hydrogeologist and Engineering Geologist for SNR Company. He has a wealth
of experience related to critical areas and water issue including water law.
Steve will present a very condensed version of his 2 day course on critical
areas issues. During his presentation you will learn what a wetland is and
maybe more importantly what a wetland IS NOT. No matter your level of
experience in this area, we guarantee you will learn something new. Steve
is a CAPR member and has become a tremendous asset to the organization.
Sessions 3 and 4 will deal with legal issues. In session 3, attorney Paul
Hirsch will educate us on takings and eminent domain law. And in session 4,
attorney Justin Park will talk on challenging wetland determinations.
The price to attend is $35 which includes a buffet lunch. This event will
be held at Doubletree Suites Hotel, located at 16500 Southcenter Parkway,
Seattle. See more at www.Seattle.Doubletree.com
<http://www.seattle.doubletree.com/> . Note that while this is a Seattle
address, it is actually adjacent to Tukwila and directly southwest of the
Westfield Southcenter Mall.
