WDSGlobal is looking for an IT Systems Administrator for our Kirkland,
Washington office.  You will play a key role administering
state-of-the-art systems technology with a small but growing team and
with the opportunity to work on exciting new technologies as we grow.
You will administer and manage IT business resource availability at the
regional network level, including risk mitigation, upgrades, changes and
implementations.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

*	Data center management; server management, application
availability and management, redundant power management.
*	Demonstrable Project Management skills: technical
implementations, regional application launches, upgrades.

 

Candidate Qualifications and Technical Expertise

*	Minimum 3 years IT Network and applications management
experience - Required
*	Customer service skills including a focus on delighting internal
customers and their needs in IT delivery - Required
*	Active Directory 2003 - Strongly Preferred; Active Directory
2000 - Considered
*	MS Exchange 2003- Strongly Preferred; MS Exchange 2000 -
Considered
*	Backup solutions abilities
*	Server configuration and management both MS 2003 and Linux
*	SNMP, MRTG, HP Insight Manager, Sitescope experience
*	Power: UPS and Generator knowledge
*	Client side applications - availability and performance
*	AV updates and management
*	OS updates, security updates 
*	DR and Business Continuity experience
*	Structured, timely and good advice on key risks as they arise
*	Able to interface easily with all levels of staff
*	Well organized with a strong attention to detail
*	May involve minimal travel to other regions (1-2 times per year)
*	Physical requirements typical with system administration
*	Actively demonstrate the WDSGlobal Values
*	Other duties as assigned
