Hi folks - There have been lots of moving parts, let me summarize where things stand as of 4pm Tuesday the 15th.
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>
We have signed a contract with the Scottish Rite Temple (1207 N152nd St in Shoreline) to host the open events.
</div>
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>
A new flyer with the new site has been created, sent to all pre-registered folks, sent via an email blast to the unit (or will be soon), and delivered to ACBL to update the tournament listing. I have requested a new insurance certificate for the new site.
</div>
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>
The SRT space will comfortably hold 20 tables at our required spacing, leaving room for a director's table, hospitality table, and room to walk. Jeff is updating, or has updated, the registration stuff to accommodate up to 20 tables for each event.
</div>
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>
We plan to get our cargo trailer to the SRT site on Thursday evening because that's when the driver is available. I will be on site to coordinate the drop-off and introduce the trailer to the building facilities manager. I put the new trailer tabs on the trailer today, so it is legal to drive.
</div>
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>
Setup at SRT will start Friday at 10am. Jeff is coordinating that. I will try to be there at 10am to introduce him to the building facilities manager and get the process oriented, and to bring the Bridgemates.
</div>
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>
Setup at SBC will start Friday near 11am (no longer needed Thursday night). I will work with Nick to handle it there, but extra hands could be useful if you're available.
</div>
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>
Boards are being dealt by Nick. I will call on someone to shuttle them from Nick's club to SRT on Friday morning, probably near 11am or 12noon.
</div>
<div>
<br>
</div>
<div>
I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but this is what I remember right now.
</div>
