That, plus the requirement for ALL team members of a 5- or 6-member team to play in BOTH playoff matches to qualify for 1st- or 2nd-place masterpoints, is onerous and conflicts with the regular-season requirement for each player to play in HALF of the matches (and by extension, only one of the two playoff matches) to qualify. As a result of this rule and the scheduling, we must now dis-enfranchise one of our top players.<br><br>Please:<br><br>-1: Schedule the Round Robin regular season to start and end a half-month earlier: March 15 to Sept 30, giving three full months for the playoffs to accommodate heavy holiday travel schedules.<br><br>-2 : If possible within the Conditions of Contest, award playoff masterpoints to ALL team members based on the team's final results during the playoffs, even if a player played in only one of the two playoff matches.</span> </p> <p>(Sent via <i><a href="http://www.bridgeinseattle.org" target="_blank">ACBL Unit 446</a></i>)</p> </div></blockquote></div></div><br></body></html>
