The value and experience can be dependent on factors for which I have no insight as regards Eastlake Bar & Grill — factors like sufficient convenient parking and suitability of the room in terms of size and ambience. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Has the possibility of having the event at SBC been considered? I believe the dates of interest are Dec 12 or 19, both Wednesdays. SBC has beginner lessons on Wednesday evenings, but its calendar does not indicate they extended into mid-December. I don’t know if Nick would be interested in opening up SBC for something like this, but if we are planning to pay a site fee, perhaps he would be interested. Since I've been on the board, we've usually done these at a unit member's home, giving them a budget for booze and main course, and the rest of us bring a side. I like the idea of a restaurant or bar handling the prep and cleanup, however, I prefer the less expense of someone's home.
