Each has a summary of the problems we believe ACBL faces due to the current situation. We then provide a proposed solution, a method of implementing our solution, and an estimate of the funding required. We hope to eventually agree on the first two parts of each proposal (where we stand and what is wrong). If we can do that, we will have a foundation on which to discuss the best ways to solve our problems.<o:p></o:p></div><div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; ">We have already received feedback from the ACBL Board of Directors. Over the past week, 20 of our 25 Directors have offered their improvements and criticisms. Many of these ideas will affect your District, Unit, Clubs, and members. We need to know which ideas you like, which you don’t like, and how we can improve each proposal.<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt -0.25in; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; ">Share these ideas with other parts of our bridge community. We plan to post links to these proposals on BridgeWinners. Improve the proposals. This will allow us to record all of your opinions (the voting will be secret) and generate a score for each proposal. All of them probably need to be discussed and further improved by one or another Board Committee. We do not expect all of the proposals to be approved—and our staff probably couldn’t execute all of them at once!
