The board believes daytime sessions will get more players engaged and present on Friday, and we are seeing this same schedule in more sectionals across various areas. Currently at our sectionals, very few 1pm players stay for the 7pm because it starts late. The 7pm full/normal session also is challenging for turnaround to 10:30 start on Saturday.

The addition of the 7pm fast game was meant for working players without keeping the site open as late on Friday.
Hi Matt & Jenni,

As you've heard already, the board voted at our September meeting to make some adjustments to the Sweetheart Sectional schedule. I've prepared a draft flyer, as we are currently reviewing within the board toward finalizing with the ACBL in time for distribution
at the Halloween sectional. (Last year's flyer is also attached for reference.) We would appreciate your thoughts and feedback before we finalize.
Some callouts:

Friday times shifted to 11am & 3:30pm, with 7pm fast pairs added (BAM removed)

Strats for open events when a 0-2500 is present changed to 0-3000, 3000-5000, 5000+ per feedback from Jenni at last year's Sweetheart (included in postmortem)

Thank you in advance,

JC
I'd like to get this finalized before I leave for my trip to avoid scrambling when I return. Thus, I would appreciate it if the board could review by end of this month. Specifically, I will
be seeking sign-off from Tim, Ray, and Larry on the schedule and flyer before it is sent to the ACBL for approval. (I will send a separate thread to Matt and Jenni for comment and CC Tim, Ray, and
Larry.)
