Generally it is March or later by the time they have a clear picture on what projects will be done at each school and thus whether a summertime rental is even in the picture. <b>This appears to take HSD out of play for a Sun Tan sectional.</b></div><div><br></div><div>HSD facility rentals on weekends during the school year are much more predictable and better from their standpoint. This might work for an NLM sectional. I think it is very likely we could find a suitable NLM site at a HSD elementary school or middle school. Debra has already sent me info on Madrona Elementary School. I made an appointment to meet with her on Wednesday, Sept 20 in her office in Burien. We will discuss our facility requirements and her take on best candidates. I would need to make appointments directly with the school office in order to visit a site. The one factor that appears to make HSD undesirable/unaffordable is their policy requiring that a custodian be funded to be on site the entire time during a rental. Their facility hourly fees seem very reasonable, but the custodial costs are very hefty. I'll get a current fee schedule when I meet with her next week.
