--></style></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink="#954F72"><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Per our discussion at Monday’s board meeting, I contacted Doug Siegert at Kent Parks today.</p><p class=MsoNormal>The subject was whether we were prepared to commit to rent the facility in September <i>2017</i>, which is 20 months from now.</p><p class=MsoNormal>I told him that date was pretty far out for Kent to expect a final commitment from us now, and would explain the reasons for our hesitance.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>His initial reaction was that dozens of organizations contact them, and want to rent space.</p><p class=MsoNormal>But they want to give us some priority, as we rented in <i>May </i>of 2015 and are committed to do it again in <i>Sept </i>of 2016.</p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I explained we were very pleased with the facility and the turnout last May. We held it there mostly because the South King County players asked us to hold one of our sectionals tournament in that area; and the bridge players turned out in force. We will keep the faith with them, and are committed to hold another tournament there this year (2016). But we don’t know whether our dates in September of this year will work out as well as Memorial Day weekend in 2015.
