to submit an application for that seat. I understand the board is considering options of how to fill the seat and that I will probably not be considered on the same basis as the 3 candidates who filed for the election.

qualified, both as a bridge player and as a board member. I enjoyed my time on the board and am looking forward to once again having the opportunity to serve the bridge community. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto">There may be some concern that I didn’t file for the election. I had decided to take off one more year before trying to get on the board again next year. But when I found out
the board was short a member, I felt it was my duty and privilege to offer my services to the board now instead of waiting that extra year. <o:p></o:p></p>
