[SBU Board] Would like to put forward an idea to the board

I play online with Dee several times a week and think that this is a terrific idea!  I could get her to the game, she still lives in Arlington.  Could also think about involving some of her other current and former partners!  Cliff

I'd like to suggest that we take one of the days (prob Friday) of the KO Sectional this May to honor a great lady of our district, Dee Berry, who made Platinum Life Master during COVID.

Dee is a legend in Seattle bridge--she has taught almost everyone in our area who took up  bridge in the 80s and 90s.  She is in her 90s, still playing up in Everett a couple times a week.
i think having a cake and naming a game in her honor would be a great way to celebrate her life in bridge.  note, although she is now in Everett, she is still part of our unit.

I'm willing to help make this happen--buy the cake, get her to the game, etc, but it would mean much if the board would help with all this.
