are you getting ready to play bridge in person?

*News - Back to the club ...*

*You've heard the good news ... the State of Washington may be fully open
on June 30th.*

While we wait for the good news, we are working on getting the club ready
for play in our post COVID world.  Let me tell you what we are doing and
the changes you will see:

   1. *Entirely new digital playing system.*  No bid boxes, no cards -
   Each position will have a digital tablet that you will bid and play from.
   You will be given a clean stylus each time you play (or may bring your
   own).  This system will allow games to move faster, the table to be
   cleaner, helping us keep the club as clean and safe as possible.  Besides,
   it's really fun.  *We will have sessions before we re-open to help
   everyone understand the new system, get a chance to use it in relaxed
   environment and ask questions & let us know your concerns.*  This system
   allows you play at home or on the road with the club (talk with Paulette
   about this individually).
   2. *The club will require vaccination verification upon entering.*  We
   will track this information, so you will not have to show your vaccination
   card more than once.  Those not vaccinated will be able to play with the
   club via our new LoveBridge digital system from home.
   3. *The club will be cleaned twice a week, and will follow CDC safety
   guidelines*.  It will be sanitized with a fogger (similar to those on
   airplanes) and all products are CDC recommended. Additional daily cleaning
   on doors & surfaces.
   4. *All food will now be only packaged food for safety.*  We will
   continue to serve coffee & tea.  Any one working in the kitchen will be
   required to use gloves.  For the present time we will no longer serve lunch
   for our Monday & Wednesday games, but will provide pre-packaged snacks.
   5. *Moving to a cash-less system*.  We will be moving to a system where
   you can pay via your debit or credit card.

While we don't have a firm date for re-opening, we are hoping this date
will be in July and hope to announce  soon.  In the meantime - please
continue to join us on our virtual games via BBO.

Our schedule for play will be the same as before the pandemic:

   -  Monday 12pm (Open & 0-400)
   - Tuesday 10am (Open)
   - Wednesday 12pm (Open & 0-400)
   - Wednesday 7pm (0-1000 change)
   - Thursday 10am (Open)
   - Friday 10am (Open & 0-400)
   - Saturday 1pm (Open)

If you have any questions, please give me a call or drop me an email.  We
are very much looking forward to seeing everyone again ---  It's been a
long 18 months!
