D19 Board Members and Unit Presidents,

In the letter I sent in the email below, I said I would be following up
with developments related to COVID-19 and the return to F2F play.

Please see the attached, just released, ACBL COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
for its employees, including those who work or play at F2F tournaments.
Note its effectivity date of July 1, 2021.  Please share this with all
board members, officials, and others involved in planning, organizing and
running F2F tournaments.  Please also give consideration to including this
piece in your newsletters and posting it to your websites.

I'll continue to provide updates as they occur.

D19 Unit Presidents,



Recently, we’ve witnessed positive developments on the COVID pandemic front.
  While circumstances vary, and challenges remain, this progress is
uplifting.  Meanwhile, work continues on plans and preparations for a
return to face-to-face play.  This was a primary focus area during last
week’s ACBL BOD meeting.



Please share the attached letter with your Unit Board and with the clubs in
your Unit.  It provides information on considerations for the return to F2F
play and factors some Units and Districts are now addressing.



I welcome your comments, questions, suggestions and concerns on this or any
topic.
