Dear District and Unit Presidents,

The shape of the world has changed, and the game of bridge is changing with
it. Online play has become key to sustaining bridge and the League and will
continue to do so in the future.

About half of ACBL membership has played in an online sanctioned game, but
together, we can grow that number. We can help more players feel
comfortable and confident in playing online with personal outreach.

While the ACBL has been initiating marketing campaigns to encourage online
play, your grassroots efforts at the unit and district level are key. You
and your volunteers are invaluable in reaching success.

To help, we’ve created the *Unit/District Online Engagement Toolkit*, a
guide that delves into ideas, suggestions and examples to assist players in
starting online play. It also includes resources Headquarters can provide
and examples of what the team has been doing.
