So, I got a survey from the ACBL today "because I haven't played on BBO
recently".  As several of the folks on this board know, that is not
accurate. :) I was on BBO playing ACBL club games this past weekend, with
my ACBL number associated.  So either the ACBL's definition of "recently"
is pretty rigorous or this survey got sent to some amount of people in
error.

I also have concerns about whether they are accurately capturing my
"contributions" in SYC and other locations if their reporting is indicating
I'm not actually playing.

If you also seemingly got the survey in error, let me know.  It'd be good
to understand if this is isolated or more widespread.  For example, if they
just accidentally sent it to the whole membership, that's not great but far
less concerning in terms of reporting accuracy. :)

Heads up of a potential problem in how this survey was targeted/segmented
that could affect the data quality...

I'm all for surveying players who aren't using BBO, but I played on BBO, in
two different ACBL club games, in the past week.  Both pre-pandemic and
now, I play on BBO more than in live clubs, because I'm a player with a
full-time job and live clubs rarely had games I could attend. Heck, I got
Bronze LM before I got actual LM because actual LM required black points.
:) My points were mostly red, gold, and colorless. So, I'm the exact
opposite of a person who should receive this survey.

I doubt I'm an isolated error case, unless perhaps all the unit officers
were added on the distribution for some reason?
