[SBU Board] while fresh in your mind

My notes:

   - Lack of heat was a major issue. The room was very drafty, practically
by design as Susan noted. (We covered up one of those gaps but the one on
the other side stayed open.) Most attendees were still wearing their winter
coats. I would not use this room again for a winter sectional. Other rooms
on campus might be okay if available.
   - Agree that we need a coat rack available. The only reason it wasn't a
bigger issue is that most people kept coats on. This should be a minimum
request for all winter/fall sectional locations.
   - I heard great things about the location proximity/accessibility,
   though.
   - We delayed the awards start until 3:10pm, started with the least
attended awards, and yet at 3:20pm, we still had barely anyone present to
accept awards, with a 3:30pm session start time. I think when we have
mostly 2-session events, people just aren't going to prioritize coming back
early for awards. Suggest moving awards to before the first session
instead of during the lunch break between sessions.
   - Teardown went fast, and I'm told setup did as well (with a minor
exception that I'm addressing elsewhere). The main bottleneck was the cart,
and that's to be expected anywhere. Well done to those who helped!
   - The announcement to have board members stand up needs to be removed.
It's fine to mention that board members are wearing name tags and to give
them feedback but the "stand up" was misconstrued as an ask for
   appreciation.
   - Heard the same complaints I'm used to hearing about the Swiss on
Sunday taking too long "why can't we do six rounds instead of seven", etc.
Disagree on the lunch break being too long.

Ann & Susan - as chairs, appreciate it if you can compile and organize the
comments via the board list (and others you received) into a postmortem
report that we can review during the meeting and append to minutes so that
we can just add/edit that instead of reiterating things already heard
here. Thanks!
