I have been asked to forward to you the attached Notice of Decision relating to Mr. David Walters of ACBL Unit 430 (Vancouver BC), ACBL #1442031.  As the Notice reflects, Mr.  Walters has been found guilty of violating the ACBL Code of Disciplinary Regulations.  As a result of this finding, and in light of his previous disciplinary record, Mr. Walters has been suspended from ACBL membership through January 11, 2021, and he has been placed on probation through January 11, 2024.

 

During the period of suspension, Mr. Walters is not permitted to participate in any ACBL-sanctioned activity, including club games, by kibitzing or otherwise.  After January 11, 2021, Mr. Walters may participate in club games, including NAP and GNT qualifying games, and STaC games, but as long as he remains on probation he may not advance beyond the club level in the NAP or GNT contests.  Mr. Walters has also been barred indefinitely from participating in ACBL-sanctioned tournaments.
