The signs look great JC.  As a new Board member I may have missed the whole Grassroots discussion so I'm wondering why it's not defined on the sign.  I suspect many players won't know what the extra buck goes for and will be asking the directors about it, perhaps creating a backlog at the entry table.  Does Ann know about adding the sign switch task to the tournament chair checklist? I'll CC her on this note. Thanks, Tom

Subject: [SBU Board] Entry Fee signs for tournaments - revised

Hi all,
At our Monday evening board meeting, we discussed that the entry fee signs (first used at the KO sectional) needed modification to a) create a separate fee roster/sign for Grass Roots Day and b) increase the size of the entry fee amount text.  Note that it will be the responsibility of the tournament chairs to swap out the entry fee signs before/after Grass Roots Day (can be done as part of the "end of day" tasks).

I've made the desired revisions in the attached.  The old sign is provided as the first page for reference.  Pages 2-3 are the (proposed) new signs.
It will take a couple of weeks to get these printed and shipped, so please take a look and provide feedback by EOW so we can get them for the Suntan Sectional.
Thanks,JC
