Re: open/finals - Mike, as chair, could you check with the TD re: how it
will be run?  I don't agree with you on the implication of the description
wording; it certainly wasn't my intent to imply that when I wrote it.  I
asked some friends who have played in the event, and they are disagreeing
with your memory of how it is sold. (I've never played in it at Seattle, so
I have no idea. It's too low EV for me to enter it here. :) )
