Subject: [SBU Board] Good News from Bothell

Bev, our contact at IUOE Local 302, just called.  A tentative labor agreement has been reached with the Association of General Contractors.  The agreement was presented at the Union meeting at the Bothell Union Hall last night.  Members have been directed to stand down from picketing and return to regular work status today (Friday).  On Monday, ballots will be going out to the membership, which will have two weeks to vote to accept or reject.  Our rental falls within that two-week window.  Bev has assessed the situation and reviewed it with her boss.  She believes it is highly unlikely something would come up that would cause interference with our rental.

So, with Ann’s and Monty’s concurrence, we are ON for the sectional. 
 
I will alert Roberto, our janitorial service.

I will be taking custody of the checkbook before John takes off and performing Treasurer's duties at the tournament.
