Hello All: Following is an exchange of email I had with Nick regarding use of SBC for I/N. Ann asked that I share this with you.

When I sent the most recent message to Nick, I thought our commitment was more specific than the minutes show. In any event, we need to ensure we don’t wear out our welcome with Nick and SBC.

Larry

Nick:

Thanks for the prompt reply, and for making your facility available for Seattle Bridge Unit.

The Board understands and is sympathetic with your concerns. In fact, at the Board meeting last night these issues were discussed and two people committed as additional help for the clean up next month.

I am sure the Board will be quite willing to review and discuss all this with you at your convenience.

I will apply tomorrow for sanction for next May.

Thank you again,

Larry

The scheduling works fine for me. We might have a discussion on the fee structure after this next tournament.
My understanding a year ago was that Board Members would help with setup and teardown.
I worked 35 hours from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening last time. If that's going to be the new normal,
I can't justify closing my club and losing between $600 and $700 income. It's certain;y great to have newer players
experience the club and possibly come back for the regular games.

I'll be contacting the board after the NLM next month with any possible updates.

Thanks,
Nick
