[SBU Board] potential gathering of SBU 446 members going to Hawaii?

Hi all,
It just occurred to me (I can be a little slow), that there will be a large
group of our unit members going to the Seattle Nationals in Hawaii over the
next few weeks.
I'd like to try to put together something similar to what we did in San
Diego and in Kansas City--find a bar and set a time, get the word out and
have a gathering of our group--a chance to catch up and support our players.

Of course, I don't have a bar in mind, and will have to scope it out when
I'm there (or at least over the next few days over the internet).   I know
of several folk going to the tournament, from Yayoi and Andy S, to
Mike/Becky, Tim/Renae, Ray/me, Dex/Cliff, Leah/Andrea/Kathy Gilman, among
others.

*I'd like to ask the board's permission for the Unit to provide say, $100,
for this informal gathering.  *
I figure I'd use the money for either a first round of drinks, or for some
snacks.
