[SBU Board] Reminder that we're having a Board Meeting at ESBC on July 1 at 10:30 am BEFORE the 8 is Enough game

I will be there Sunday morning 7/1 for the Board meeting.

As to hearing from the candidates, I think doing it at Lynnwood is a good plan, depending upon the availability of the members of the two boards, AND the candidates.  The Weinbergs and the Whites are playing teams on Friday and Saturday – but that should be no problem because I am sure you do not plan to impinge on the hours of the events.

Doing it jointly with Everett – that also sounds like a good idea.
If we do that, we should think about whether we want to separate the two boards for discussion and voting.

Also, thinking ahead.... Check your calendars...I am thinking of inviting the three people who are running for our D19 national rep (which we will be voting on in the fall) to come and make a presentation to us during the Lynnwood Regional.  I've approached Marla Patterson (who is on the Everett unit) with the idea of combining our two units for the presentation--that way the candidates can talk to a lot of us at once.  I'm thinking of either Friday or Saturday during Lynnwood, either before the afternoon session or between the afternoon/evening sessions.

Let me know your thoughts--should I go forward with this plan?
