The locker rooms were locked on Sunday — they offer additional, closer restroom facilities. Sunday evening during tear down I spoke with the staff person who was doing custodian work and mentioned that we had always had access to the locker rooms on Sunday of our prior rentals and were sorry we didn’t this time. Asked him to provide this feedback to mgmt. He said he works from the facility offices and would pass along the feedback.
It took quite some time Sunday evening for Renae and I to gather, group, check, count and pack into cases the sets of boards that I subsequently took to Sharon Erwin. By the time we finished this task, the pencil boxes were packed and loaded. In additional to making up the boards for our tournaments, Sharon has also been sharpening the pencils. This is a reminder that when we tear down we should think in terms of keeping the cases of boards and boxes of pencils together so they are all taken away by Sharon or — as Sunday evening — taken away by one of us for delivery to Sharon.
I head several comments that 56 board are too many on Sunday; this concern was further aggravated on Sunday by the smaller than usual number of folks who supported tear down.

And a $500 loss did buy us some south-end good will. Next time, we might want to promote this a bit in the greater southend (including Portland)... just an idea.
