I've added the relevant information from the below to our entry fee page on
the website, with a note that it's effective 2/28.  Larry - you'll need to
update the schedule of entry fees for directors for the May KO, and
Patti/Ann - be aware for the Spring NLM, as these two will be our first
tournaments under the new structure.

*Member number now required at tournaments*
A new rule for tournaments will be applied beginning March 1: players must
now provide an ACBL member number to play in any tournament event.
Therefore, non-members must join ACBL before playing. However, a full-year
membership is not required with the introduction of temporary memberships
(see below).
Members whose membership has expired are still required to pay $4 more per
tournament session - this requirement is not new and has not changed. If it
is a charity event, a 0-20 game, or player has a current membership with
ABA, there is no surcharge.
Players without an ACBL member number may still play in sanctioned clubs.

*Introducing temporary memberships*
Players at the tournament don't need to commit to a full year of membership
to play. With the new temporary membership option, they will receive the
benefits of membership for one month - including a member number.
Temporary memberships are just $7.99 (Can$9.95), which is about the same or
less than the amount they would previously have paid for two sessions as a
non-member. Players can sign up for a temporary membership online

Those who sign up a temporary membership will benefit, too. They will
receive $5 for each initial temporary membership they enroll and, when the
temporary member renews for a  one-year or three-year membership, they'll
also get the current recruitment incentives

Temporary memberships are only available to players who never had a
full-year membership before. At the end of the month, temporary members may
renew the temporary membership or upgrade to a one-year or three-year
membership. If a temporary member renews for a full-year membership before
their temporary membership expires, they get a $7.99 (Can$9.95) discount
(online renewals only).
Once you've signed up a temporary member, we'll reach out to them. We want
to include them in our bridge community and show them how being a member
can enhance their bridge experience.

New members can now test-drive ACBL for one or several months before
