[SBU Board] STAC vs MUG

I vote that we are happy to support what ever decision Eastside would like to do.

On a personal note, I like STAC games, but appreciate that they are near pointless at clubs like Mercercrest, due to the difficulty in getting into the overalls at a tougher club than the average STAC game.

Cheers,
Mike

Good point, but how many people know the board advertised it that way?

Mercercrest probably is the exception as very few of the players in that game have any need for silver points.

Based on the attendance at Eastside's Friday game, the 199ers section is almost always larger then the Open. I don't know how many of the 199ers there are seriously trying to make LM though. Quite a few of them were 199ers when I started playing duplicate again in 2009.

Of the 1,103 members in Unit 446 having any Masterpoints 704 have fewer than 500, and 510 have fewer than 200 (numbers from the coloradospringsbridge.com site).
